Golf Majors Draft Board
A Masters pool is already a draft — it is just usually run on a printout, with someone’s brother-in-law reading names off a phone. This is the same thing with a board everyone can see and a clock that stops the argument about whose turn it was.
The pool is every man who has won a major, ranked by how many he won. Each row carries the split across the four — six Masters and five PGAs for Nicklaus, four Opens for Hagen — which is usually the detail that settles whether somebody is worth a second-round pick.
Because it is grouped by era, the board rewards knowing the history rather than this week’s form. Hogan and Player are still on it. So is Harry Vardon, who won seven Opens before the Masters existed.
Running a golf majors draft
1. Open the majors board
Forty-five champions load ranked by majors won, each tagged with the era of their first win and the country they played for.
2. Set a short clock
Three rounds on a thirty-second timer suits a room that is half-watching the golf. Everyone gets three champions and nobody misses a shot.
3. Score it however your pool scores it
The board decides who owns whom; the scoring stays wherever it already lives. Plenty of pools just count majors and argue about the rest.

Is this the field for this year’s Masters?
No — it is every major champion in history, so the board does not expire in April. For the current field, paste the tee sheet into a CSV and draft that instead; the room is identical.
Does it include the women’s majors?
Not on this board. The set of women’s majors has changed over the years, so folding them in is an editorial call rather than a lookup, and doing it badly would make the totals mean two different things. Upload a combined list if you want one.
How were the numbers checked?
Each row lists the Masters, U.S. Open, Open and PGA counts alongside the total, so the four have to add up to the fifth. Every row in the source did. The board records the date it was last checked.
How much does it cost?

What draft formats are supported?

What happens if someone loses connection?
The clock is server-authoritative, so the draft stays in sync for everyone. Anyone who drops can reconnect and resume exactly where they left off, and optional auto-pick keeps things moving on the clock.
