## A board tuned for fantasy golf

Filter and sort golfers by position, team, and your own custom ratings so the right pick is always one tap away.

**Positions on the board:** Bomber, Ball striker, Putter, Scrambler

**Draft the biggest names:** Load golfers from across the PGA Tour and the majors — for example: Scheffler, McIlroy, Rahm, Schauffele, Hovland

## How to run a fantasy golf draft

1. **Build your fantasy golf board.** Upload a CSV of golfers from the PGA Tour and the majors with your own ranks and any rating columns you care about, or start from a template and edit it.
2. **Set the format and invite your league.** Choose a snake draft, a budget auction, or a hybrid of both, set the order or randomise it, then share one join link with your managers.
3. **Draft it live.** Every manager picks on the same synced clock. Auto-pick keeps the fantasy golf draft moving if someone loses signal, and the commissioner can undo a pick or skip a turn if it goes wrong.

## What matters in a fantasy golf draft

The board is only half of it — here is how fantasy golf leagues usually approach draft day.

Golf drafts split into two shapes. A one-and-done pool drafts a different golfer each week and nobody can be reused, which rewards planning the whole season at the draft. A major-week draft splits a single field between managers and is over in an afternoon.

Field size is the practical constraint: a hundred and fifty entrants is far more than a snake draft wants to work through. Either cut the pool to a credible top fifty before you start, or run an auction so managers only bid on names they actually want.

Course fit beats world ranking on any given week. Carry a column for driving distance or putting so the board reflects who suits this course, rather than who is best in the abstract.

## Golf draft questions

### Can I run a Golf draft with my own rankings?

Absolutely. Upload a CSV of golfers with your own ranks and custom columns, or start from a Golf template and tweak it. Your board, your rules.

### Does LiveDraft-It support Golf auctions?

Yes. Run a full budget auction for your Golf pool with per-manager budgets, minimum bid increments, anti-snipe extensions and optional anonymous bidding — or mix an auction and a snake draft together with the hybrid format.

### Is there a Golf template I can use?

Browse the template marketplace for community and system Golf datasets, or build your own in minutes and optionally share it with everyone.
