## A board tuned for fantasy Dota 2

Filter and sort players by position, team, and your own custom ratings so the right pick is always one tap away.

**Positions on the board:** Carry, Mid, Offlane, Soft Support, Hard Support

**Draft the biggest names:** Load players from across The International and the DPC — for example: Team Spirit, Gaimin Gladiators, LGD, Tundra Esports

## How to run a fantasy Dota 2 draft

1. **Build your fantasy Dota 2 board.** Upload a CSV of players from The International and the DPC with your own ranks and any rating columns you care about, or start from a template and edit it.
2. **Set the format and invite your league.** Choose a snake draft, a budget auction, or a hybrid of both, set the order or randomise it, then share one join link with your managers.
3. **Draft it live.** Every manager picks on the same synced clock. Auto-pick keeps the fantasy Dota 2 draft moving if someone loses signal, and the commissioner can undo a pick or skip a turn if it goes wrong.

## What matters in a fantasy Dota 2 draft

The board is only half of it — here is how fantasy Dota 2 leagues usually approach draft day.

Dota position numbers are a genuine ranking, not just labels — position one is the farm priority and position five gives it up. That structure makes for a clean draft board, because everyone needs one of each and the trade-offs are explicit.

Valve’s own fantasy scoring rewards supports far more than newcomers expect, through wards and stacks rather than kills. If you are inventing your own scoring, decide whether you are copying that or building something that favours cores.

The International compresses a whole season into two weeks, which suits a one-off auction: every manager has the same budget, the same pool, and no time to recover from a bad buy.

## Dota 2 draft questions

### Can I run a Dota 2 draft with my own rankings?

Absolutely. Upload a CSV of players with your own ranks and custom columns, or start from a Dota 2 template and tweak it. Your board, your rules.

### Does LiveDraft-It support Dota 2 auctions?

Yes. Run a full budget auction for your Dota 2 pool with per-manager budgets, minimum bid increments, anti-snipe extensions and optional anonymous bidding — or mix an auction and a snake draft together with the hybrid format.

### Is there a Dota 2 template I can use?

Browse the template marketplace for community and system Dota 2 datasets, or build your own in minutes and optionally share it with everyone.
