## A board tuned for fantasy cycling

Filter and sort riders by position, team, and your own custom ratings so the right pick is always one tap away.

**Positions on the board:** GC, Sprinter, Climber, Domestique, Time trialist

**Draft the biggest names:** Load riders from across the Tour de France and the Grand Tours — for example: UAE Team Emirates, Visma, INEOS Grenadiers, Soudal Quick-Step

## How to run a fantasy cycling draft

1. **Build your fantasy cycling board.** Upload a CSV of riders from the Tour de France and the Grand Tours with your own ranks and any rating columns you care about, or start from a template and edit it.
2. **Set the format and invite your league.** Choose a snake draft, a budget auction, or a hybrid of both, set the order or randomise it, then share one join link with your managers.
3. **Draft it live.** Every manager picks on the same synced clock. Auto-pick keeps the fantasy cycling draft moving if someone loses signal, and the commissioner can undo a pick or skip a turn if it goes wrong.

## What matters in a fantasy cycling draft

The board is only half of it — here is how fantasy cycling leagues usually approach draft day.

Grand Tour fantasy is a role draft, not a talent draft. A squad of five general-classification riders scores badly because only one wins; you want a GC contender, a sprinter for the flat stages and a climber for the mountains.

Domestiques are the value play in any scoring system that rewards stage placings, because they ride at the front for three weeks and cost almost nothing at auction.

Abandonments are routine over three weeks. Leagues that allow no substitutions should draft deeper rosters than feels necessary.

## Cycling draft questions

### Can I run a Cycling draft with my own rankings?

Absolutely. Upload a CSV of riders with your own ranks and custom columns, or start from a Cycling template and tweak it. Your board, your rules.

### Does LiveDraft-It support Cycling auctions?

Yes. Run a full budget auction for your Cycling pool with per-manager budgets, minimum bid increments, anti-snipe extensions and optional anonymous bidding — or mix an auction and a snake draft together with the hybrid format.

### Is there a Cycling template I can use?

Browse the template marketplace for community and system Cycling datasets, or build your own in minutes and optionally share it with everyone.
