## Your draft, from the chat

Everything a commissioner sets up and everything a drafter checks on draft night.

- **Build the board from anything:** Paste a list, share a spreadsheet or a screenshot of your rankings. The assistant reads it and makes your player pool, or picks one of our ready-made templates.
- **Set up the whole draft:** Format, rounds, pick clock, budget, order. Describe your league in a sentence and get the draft and its invite link back.
- **Invite your league:** Add friends by username, or get the join link to drop in the group chat. Everyone you invite plays free.
- **Know where the clock is:** Who’s on the clock, how many seconds are left, and how many picks until yours, without leaving the chat.
- **See who’s left:** Best available by rank, filtered by position or team, next to your roster, so you can talk your pick through.
- **Make your pick:** On your turn, name the player and it’s drafted. The room updates for everyone instantly and the clock moves on.

## Connect it once

1. **Add the connector.** In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors and create a connector (Developer mode). In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Use the URL https://livedraftit.com/mcp.
2. **Sign in and allow.** Sign in to LiveDraft-It (or make a free account) and press Allow. The assistant never sees your email address or password.
3. **Just ask.** Ask it to set up your draft or help you pick. Your draft room updates live for everyone, exactly as if you had clicked.

- Commissioner: “Set up a 12-team PPR snake draft called “Sunday Funday 2026” from the fantasy football template, 15 rounds, 90 seconds a pick.”
- Commissioner: “Here are my keeper league rankings (screenshot). Turn them into a player pool and make a draft with them.”
- Commissioner: “Add jsmith and kat_r to the draft, then randomize the order.”
- Drafter: “Who’s on the clock in Sunday Funday, and how many picks until mine?”
- Drafter: “Show me the best running backs left, compared with what’s on my roster.”
- Drafter: “It’s my pick — draft Bijan Robinson.”

### Can I use LiveDraft-It from ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Add LiveDraft-It as a connector (https://livedraftit.com/mcp) in ChatGPT or Claude and sign in. You can set up drafts from a pasted list or a screenshot of your rankings, add friends, set the order, check the board, and make your pick when you’re on the clock.

### Does the ChatGPT connector cost extra?

No. Connecting is free, and so is setting up drafts from chat. Taking a draft live costs the same as on the site: $9 for one draft or $49 once for Lifetime. Players you invite never pay.

### Can the assistant draft for me?

Only on your turn, and only the player you choose. It can show you who’s left and what’s on your roster to help you decide. Auction bidding stays in the draft room, where the timing is tight.

### What can ChatGPT or Claude see?

Only what you could see on the site: your drafts, your player lists, the board, and other drafters’ usernames. Never your email address or password. To disconnect, remove the connector in the app, or sign out everywhere from livedraftit.com/connect.
